  • The Pine Lake Picnic is Wood Buffalo National Park's celebration of Canada's Parks Day. A national celebration to recognize conservation areas across the country highlighting the important role that parks play in maintaining healthy and resilient ecosystems, protecting critical habitat for species-at-risk and contributing to human health and well-being. This year marks the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the first ever Pine Lake Picnic. Running from 1pm to 4 pm, free food and refreshments will be served, and everyone is invited to participate in activities and games for the whole community. Prizes will be awarded to winners of the Canoe race, Obstacle course and Bison patty toss.
